About
Katarina R. Soewono, MD, is a Family Medicine physician with an interest in obstetrics.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Soewono came to Saint Agnes in 2020 as a Family Medicine Resident. After completing her residency, Dr. Soewono chose to continue providing care for the Central Valley as a Saint Agnes Care provider. She received her medical degree from American University of Antigua, College of Medicine.
Dr. Soewono chose to become a doctor in order to communicate the values of preventive care and advocate for underserved patients. She believes in partnering with patients and treating each person as a unique and valued individual.
She is fluent in English and Indonesian.
In her spare time, she enjoys aquatic activities, trying new foods, watching movies and spending time with family.
