About
Saint Agnes is pleased to welcome Holupathirage “Kal” Caldera, MD, a Board-certified Primary Care Physician specializing in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Caldera received his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia. He then came to Fresno where he attended the Saint Agnes Family Medicine residency program and served as the Chief Resident. He later became the first physician to complete a Fellowship in Sport Medicine at Saint Agnes.
Dr. Caldera will be practicing at both Saint Agnes Care Internal Medical Associates and Saint Agnes Care Orthopaedic Institute.
In his free time, Dr. Caldera enjoys being a dad to his daughters, both of whom were born at Saint Agnes Medical Center. He loves spending quality time outdoors, including leisurely strolls with his aging rescue dog, grilling and watching sports – especially cricket.
He is fluent in English.
