Clayton Jacob Benson

Clayton Benson, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician.

Dr. Benson received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at San Joaquin General Hospital.

Dr. Benson believes in a collaborative approach to care, working closely with patients, families and their healthcare team to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans. He strives to combine sound clinical judgment and evidence-based medicine with clear communication and an understanding of each patient’s goals, concerns, and circumstances. He believes patients should be active participants in decisions about their care and that taking the time to listen and explain can make a meaningful difference. His goal is to provide compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care while treating every patient with respect.
In his free time, he enjoys running, skiing, yoga and spending time with his wife and three young children.
